1. JESUS IS OUR MODEL : FBC loves Jesus!

  • Jesus is our Savior and Lord! 
  • Jesus is our Model for life and ministry!
  • We want to make disciples Jesus style!

Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. - 1 John 2:6

2. JOY : FBC loves to make it enjoyable to learn about God! 

  • It is a sin to bore people with the gospel.
  • We want to make it enjoyable to learn about God. 
  • Life is hard so when we gather we will laugh hard, loud, and often because Jesus is the Joy-
    giver.  
  • Nothing is more fun than learning about God and serving Him with people we love!

Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. - Romans 12:11-12

3. GOSPEL SATURATION : FBC loves the gospel!

  • Everyone needs the gospel!
  • The lost need the gospel to be reached, while the found need the gospel to be transformed. 

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who
believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.- Romans 1:16

4. REDEMPTIVE RELATIONSHIPS : FBC loves one another!   

  • We believe the gospel enables us to do life together.
  • We need each other to grow, serve, share and reach out.

Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they
were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having
favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.- Acts 2:46-47

5. EVANGELISM : FBC loves the lost! 

  • Disciple-making begins and ends with evangelism. 
  • When we have the cure for death, we must share it.
  • The more we experience the gospel personally, the more compelled we are to share it. 
  • We will do anything short of sin to reach the lost.

I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner
who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. - Luke 15:7

6. PRIORITY OF THE NEXT GENERATION : FBC loves children, youth, and college students!  

  • The church is always one generation from extinction. 
  • We place a top priority on reaching the next generation in all we do.

And all that generation also were gathered to their fathers. And there arose another generation after them who did not know the LORD or the work that he had done for Israel. - Judges 2:10
